(Salt Lake City, UT)  --  State leaders want agricultural water users to use more technology to help optimize the way they irrigate their land.  The governor's office released an action plan for agricultural water use yesterday.  The hope is that farmers and ranchers will switch over to more efficient systems that can maximize moisture while cutting overall water use.  But the report says maximizing water usage will also take a significant investment, and could cost up to six-billion dollars.
