A group of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints missionaries who made it through a 14-day quarantine for the coronavirus won't be headed back to their original postings anytime soon.

The Church recalled 113 missionaries from Hong Kong and Macau in early February due to the novel coronavirus outbreak.

Those who were near the end of their scheduled mission were sent home and released from service.

Others will continue to serve in other locations until the current outbreak of the virus is over, at which time they may be sent back to Hong Kong or Macau.
