One of the main reasons to visit Gunlock State Park in Washington County is being suspended by state park officials.

The state Division of Parks and Recreation asked the operators of the Gunlock reservoir to turn off the water to the park's waterfalls.

The decision was apparently made after the park reached capacity over the weekend, making it difficult for visitors to keep the proper amount of social distance.

The park will remain open and the Utah State Park system will increase measures to enforce traffic rules to help reduce congestion at Gunlock.
