I-15 in Washington County closed due to wildfire

The Utah Department on Transportation is reporting that I-15 northbound and southbound is closed at mile marker 27 near Toquerville.

Traffic is being re-routed off of the freeway at SR17 (Anderson Junction) and mile marker 16, three miles north of Washington.

Traffic is being re-routed through the Hurricane, Laverkin area.

Expect delays in that area.
