It’s Finally Happening! A 2nd In-N-Out Burger Is Coming To St. George!
I've been dreaming about this day for years now. An announcement has been made that a 2nd In-N-Out Burger is ALL but officially coming St. George! The 1st In-N-Out was brought to Telegraph in Washington in 2007. The lines were HOURS LONG for weeks, even months after that location finally opened up! Nearly 17 years later, we're finally going to get ANOTHER location here in St. George!
I've been very vocal about the necessity of another location on the other side of town for a while now, and while the new location will NOT be where I was thinking (Bluff Street in K-Mart Parking Lot), it's even closer to my home!
The NEW In-N-Out Location in St. George is set to be coming to Exit 2 on the Southern Parkway exit next to the Terrible's Gas Station and diagonal across the street from Big Shots Golf! This location is awesome! It's right off I-15 for all the traffic coming North from Arizona, California, and Nevada.
This announcement was also confirmed to be on it's way from Macrae Heppler on his "What's Happening Here In Southern Utah" series. If you don't follow Macrae on Facebook, you should. He's always dropping "#MacBombs" about new construction, restaurants, stores, and more!
In Macrae's video, he also mentioned a third location of Del Taco hitting St. George, right next door to the In-N-Out Burger! This south end of town is absolutely blowing up, and I am THRILLED about it!
We Found It! Southern Utah's ABSOLUTE BEST Sugar Cookie!
In a state where "Cookie Wars" are real things, and a new cookie shop will pop up all over town... I've found the place to get the BEST Sugar Cookie in all of Southern Utah! Move over Crumbl, move over Swig... Make way for The Sugar Cookie! The Sugar Cookie is located between Applebee's and Winger's here in St. George and these cookies are INCREDIBLE! They've been here for a while now, and if you STILL haven't tried them, you're really missing out!
I've only ever bought their mini's before, but they're perfect for parties or just for the whole family! You're not having to buy cookies that are big enough to be called "Cake". Plus, totally affordable too! But what I really love about these cookies are the ICING! It's soft and delicious. The flavor is not overly sweet. The cookies themselves are extremely soft too!
They've got tons of different flavors too! Flavors like...
- Samoa
- Red Velvet
- Chocolate Cream Cheese
- Double Chocolate
- Chocolate Vanilla
- Original
- Orange
- Cherry
- Coconut
- Lemon
The Sugar Cookie is open Monday-Saturday, and they're a PERFECT idea for Valentine's Day. Give them a shot! You will not regret it!
New Roads WE NEED In St. George That Will Make Life EASIER!
I've been living in St. George my whole life. I know all of the shortcuts in town, and I know how to get places quicker than ANY of my friends. But after 32 years here in St. George, there are still some roads that are SO FRUSTRATING to be driving on! After all this time, we STILL don't have all the shortcuts that we need in town.
Here are the TOP 3 ROADS that we need here in St. George that will make our lives EASIER!
FLOOD STREET TO 400 EAST UNDER I-15:
This is my #1 shortcut that I would love to see here in St. George! I-15 has separated St. George for SO LONG! If I'm by Fiesta Fun, and I want to get on the other side of the freeway, it will take AT LEAST 10-15 minutes before I can get there. But the city could EASILY connect Flood Street and 400 East. The roads even match up on both sides. This one should be a no-brainer!
DIXIE CONVENTION CENTER TO SUMMIT ATHLETIC CLUB:
This road is actually CONFIRMED and happening! Macrae Heppler posted a video earlier today showing that this road is ABSOLUTELY going to happen, but it's going to be about 2 years until it's finally completed. It will take you from the Dixie Convention Center and pop out by Popeyes off River Road. This road is going to be AWESOME... But it will definitely be crossing through the Virgin River, so people might be upset about that.
FROM RIVERSIDE DRIVE TO MALL DRIVE BY DINO CROSSING:
If you ever take Riverside Drive around Foremaster, headed towards Dino Crossing... You've probably hit ALL that traffic on Riverside. You'll be backed up FOREVER if you're not careful, but wouldn't it be awesome if you could avoid that and shoot straight over to the Lin's on Mall Drive?! That's my idea with this one. It would alleviate traffic there, and make it a ton quicker to get into the Washington Fields!
Southern Utah's New Brunch Spot You've GOTTA TRY!
My FAVORITE restaurant in town, Silver Reef Brewery shocked me recently with the news that they're now doing BRUNCH on Saturdays and Sundays. I was there for lunch a couple weeks ago, and they broke the good news to me, and I had to make sure that I came and tried it over the weekend! Brunch is served Saturdays & Sundays between 11am-1pm.
WHERE IS SILVER REEF BREWERY?
Silver Reef Brewery is literally out in B.F.E. It's located out in the industrial area of St. George on South River Road. It's literally such a hidden gem. The address is: 4391 Enterprise Drive. The building has a big "ST. GEORGE'S BEVERAGE" on it, and YES! It is an actual brewery inside!

MY ORDER:
I ordered the Bacon Breakfast Burrito with the Breakfast Potatoes. It was MASSIVE! This burrito was absolutely not something I'd be able to pick up and eat with my hands. This was a fork & knife burrito! It was packed full of eggs, thick-cut bacon, and was topped with green chili sauce, chipotle aioli, and cheese. It was incredibly filling and had a little bit of kick with the chili and aioli, but was DELISH!
Now, the Breakfast Potatoes... I don't even know how they cooked these things but they were so unique. They were definitely fried, but also soft, and seasoned really well. They weren't supposed to be the "Hero" of the dish, but they were so good, I wanted more!
Of course, I also had to order my FAVORITE MENU ITEM... The Club House Sandwich and fries. I only ate a tiny bit, but boxed it up and ate it for breakfast Sunday morning!
