Lawmakers against reservation system at Zion National Park
Utah's Congressional delegation is speaking out against a proposed reservation system at Zion National Park.
Senators Mitt Romney and Mike Lee, along with Representatives Rob Bishop, Chris Stewart, and Ben McAdams wrote a letter to the U.S. Secretary of the Interior.
In it, they argued a reservation system will mean fewer tourists, hurting southern Utah's economy.
The National Park Service says something needs to be done to handle the massive influx of visitors, with numbers topping four-million in 2018.
