Lawmakers take up resolution to remain calm amid coronavirus

State lawmakers are taking up a new resolution today to urge Utahns to remain calm amid the coronavirus outbreak.

The concurrent resolution pushed by Republican State Senator Jacob Anderegg would express the Utah State Government's support of the Chinese people regarding the outbreak,  and acknowledge the virus is a serious public health risk.

It also encourages close collaboration between the public and private sectors to develop solutions to help bring the outbreak under control.
