Majority of Utahn’s in favor of ratifying Equal Rights Amendment

Nearly three out of every for Utahns are in favor of the State Legislature voting to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment.

The ERA is a proposed constitutional amendment that guarantees legal equal rights to all Americans, regardless of gender.

A new poll from UtahPolicy.com and Y2 Analytics found that 71-percent of Utahns supported the amendment.

Democrats and independents both greatly supported it, while Republicans were split nearly 50-50.
