Marine from Orem killed in California wrong way crash

An Orem Marine who died when a vehicle going the wrong way crashed into his car is being identified by California authorities.

Lance Corporal Ryan Matthew Adams died early Tuesday morning when a man trying to flee from police hit Adams' car head-on on Interstate 5 near Carlsbad, California.

Adams and the other driver died at the scene.

The 19-year-old Marine was stationed at Camp Pendleton.
