(Salt Lake City, UT) -- Forty-eight people have tested positive for monkeypox in Utah as of the end of last week. The Salt Lake County Health Department over the weekend had 500 vaccine doses for men who have sex with other men, are not in monogamous relationships, and don't have any symptoms of the illness. Anyone who did not meet that criteria was turned away. As of Friday, nearly 13-hundred people had at least one dose of the vaccine in the state.
