Mosquitoes test positive for West Nile virus in Washington County

Residents in Washington County are urged to take precautions after mosquitoes tested positive for West Nile virus.

According to the Southwest Utah Public Health Department, the results on the insects tested came earlier this week.

Residents should wear insect repellent from dusk to dawn, and wear long shirt sleeves and pants while outdoors.
