The Utah Legislature is approving funds for Southern Utah University to develop a new classroom building. S-U-U President Scott L. Wyatt says the new building is much needed for their increasing student population.

The appropriation allots about 43-million-dollars for the university to construct a 90-thousand-square-foot building with faculty offices, eight teaching studios, seven computer labs and 14 new classrooms. Construction is expected to begin in the Fall of this year and the building should be ready for classes in January 2022.
