The Utah Education Association is opposing the Washington County School Board's decision to allow the district to return to a regular schedule this fall.

The board says schools will reopen on August 13th for in-person learning on a traditional schedule with face coverings required for all staff and students.

There are also options for parents and students for both virtual learning as well as a hybrid of in-person and remote.

The UEA says teachers are concerned for their health, their students and families and are urging the board to continue with strictly remote learning until COVID-19 cases in the state decline.
