The Utah Legislature is calling itself into special session.

House Speaker Brad Wilson and Senate President Stuart Adams issued a letter last night calling a special session for this Thursday.

The 21-item agenda issued for the session mainly deals with the coronavirus pandemic and its effect on the state budget, schools and employment.

The session could last up to ten days, with lawmakers meeting virtually rather than in-person at the State Capitol.
