Utah Shakespeare Festival planning on 2020 season
Producers of the Utah Shakespeare Festival are moving forward with the 2020 season amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
Executive producer Frank Mack says they are implementing measures to ensure the safety of everyone after consulting with public health officials, state officials and the president of Southern Utah University.
The changes include fewer shows, modifying the schedule to start later in the summer and altering show designs.
They will also be adding hand sanitizing stations, strategic audience seating, increasing disinfection methods and mandating that company members quarantine upon arrival.
