Utah’s air pollution could impact Covid-19 patients
An environmental group has released a warning about the potential effects of Utah's air pollution on COVID-19 patients.
Utah Physicians for a Healthy Environment cite new research from Harvard University that found long-term exposure to fine particulate matter increases the risk of dying by 15-percent.
Dr. Brian Moench of UPHE warns the Wasatch Front that the air pollution level is high enough that it can more than double the risk of death from the coronavirus.
