St. George to host World Ironman Championship

St. George has been awarded the World Ironman Championship in 2021.

The announcement came at a news conference held Thursday afternoon at Town Square in St. George.

The announcement was made by CEO and President of Ironman Andrew Messick.

The full Ironman will also be returning to the area every three years while the other years will host the Ironman 70.3
