Washington County To Try Finding Underground Water

(St. George, UT) -- Washington County's Water Conservancy District is seeking to find underground water to help with availability. They have submitted an application with the state for water rights and 18 wells to be drilled on the Hurricane fault line. The district is proposing diverting nearly 13-thousand acre-feet of water to the Sand Hollow Reservoir.
