ACLU drops lawsuit against county jails in Utah

The ACLU has dropped its lawsuit against county jails in Utah over the coronavirus, but will still go after the Utah Department of Corrections. 

In a brief to the Utah Supreme Court, the ACLU says the county jails are taking adequate measure to prevent outbreaks at their facilities and to reduce inmate populations. 

However, they are still criticizing the state prison system, saying measures still don't go far enough.
