(St. George, UT)  --  The City of St. George is restricting the use of fireworks. Effective immediately, fireworks are prohibited in most of the city. City fire officials say we're looking at a dry year as the wind is blowing hard and there was hardly any runoff from the snow this year to bring moisture, so they'd like for people to be careful. The city plans on allowing fireworks to be used only in 16 city parks to reduce the risk of wildfire.
