Congressmen Stewart and Curtis part of panel on China threats

Utah Congressmen Chris Stewart and John Curtis will be part of a Republican panel that will look into future threats posed by China.  

The task force named by House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy was originally supposed to be a bi-partisan effort. 

But McCarthy decided to go ahead with a solely Republican panel after Democrats failed to act for more than a year. 

The panel is expected to look into China's role in the COVID-19 pandemic as well as other national security and intelligence issues.
