The Utah Supreme Court is rejecting a challenge to the current law governing medical cannabis in the state.

The state's high court unanimously rejected the case brought by the group The People's Right.

The justices said yesterday that state lawmakers and Governor Herbert acted within the law in altering voter-approved Proposition Two last December during a special session called by the governor.

Another lawsuit over the replacement bill is still making its way through the court system.
