Cox Talks Trump, Drought, Election Security During Town Hall
(Salt Lake City, UT) -- Governor Spencer Cox isn't ready to give his opinion of the FBI's action in serving a search warrant on former President Donald Trump. The Republican governor held a virtual town hall yesterday evening to answer questions from Utahns. When asked about the search warrant, Cox said he doesn't have enough information to give an opinion either way. Asked about the ongoing drought, the governor said Utah is exploring more efficient ways to conserve through technology and water-wise landscaping. He also dismissed concerns about Utah's election security, pointing to yearly audits to ensure election equipment accuracy and integrity.
