Gaze into the dramatic landscapes of Southern Utah while enjoying an active team building activity during the 50-mile Lake to Lake Relay, March 7. This St. George Races event begins at 7 a.m. at Gunlock Reservoir and ends at Sand Hollow Reservoir.

“The Lake to Lake relay is a one-of-a-kind event where you get to experience running through beautiful scenery while being on a team with your friends or family members,” said Recreation Specialist Rebecca Densley. “It is a high-energy, amazing event. You don't want to miss the fun.”

Relay teams consist of up to five people with each runner completing a minimum of two legs of approximately five miles apiece. Youth teams can have up to 10 children ages 16 and younger; each child only needs to run one leg. For those who enjoy even longer distances, an ultra team of two runners — or a solo individual — can compete.

“Lake to Lake is one of my favorite relay races in the state,” said Beaver resident Laraine Hollingshead, a regular participant. “It is a beautiful course that accommodates all running levels. We look forward to this race every year — it’s a party we don’t want to miss.”

The awards banquet will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Rock Bowl at Sand Hollow Resort. Those still wanting to form a team can register during packet pickup March 6 between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the Sand Hollow Resort Clubhouse.
