Fatal hit-and-run in Hurricane

Hurricane, UT - Hurricane police are searching for a suspect involved in the fatal hit-and-run that happened in the early hours of Sunday.  A witness called police around 1:18 a.m.  after seeing a man acting strangely on the roadway around five hundred North State Street.  While police were headed to the scene the victim, a 22-year-old man was struck by vehicle and later died at the hospital. The vehicle is reported to be either a light color truck or full-size SUV.  The Suspect continued driving South on State Street instead of stopping.   Anyone with information about the accident is asked to call 435-627-4999.
