A former professional football player will spend at least 15 years in prison for murdering his wife back in November 2017.

Forty-seven-year-old Anthony McClanahan pleaded guilty last month to stabbing 28-year-old Keri McClanahan to death at the Park Regency Hotel in Park City.

According to investigators, McClanahan tried to convince them that he, his wife and baby were attacked by a group of men at first.

However, investigators say wounds on McClanahan and the victim were consistent with the signs of a struggle.
