Foster boy files lawsuit against Red Rock Canyon School
A 15-year-old foster boy from Oregon has filed a federal lawsuit against a now-shuttered school for troubled youth in St. George.
In his court filing, the boy claims that staff members at Red Rock Canyon School allowed him to be bullied and assaulted by older teens.
He also says he was at the school during a riot in April, and claims staffers allowed the violence to escalate.
The company that owned the facility, Sequel Youth and Family Services, closed the school this summer after numerous allegations surfaced.
