Governor making mask mandate easier

Governor Gary Herbert is making it easier for local governments and state departments to issue a mandate for face masks. 

Governor Herbert says he is streamlining the process for local mask orders.  Jurisdictions looking to require masks will simply need to notify the state first, and the mandate will be issued. 

Numbers from the Utah Department of Health show that 80-percent of Utahns are either wearing a mask all the time while in public, or at least most of the time.
