I don't think an animal that is going to cause other people stress and fear can still be considered a service animal even if it is just for emotional support. Unless you are at a University of Florida football game, a gator is inappropriate.

It got me thinking of dangerous animals from Utah that should not be considered for emotional support.

The Emotional Support Moose. I don't care if you feel better walking around with him. This is a dangerous animal. Leave him in the car when you visit Home Depot.

Emotional Support Grizzly. Airports can be scary places. You may feel tense and worried about missing your flight. Do not bring your emotional support grizzly into the lounge. I don't care if you raised him from a cub and he wouldn't hurt a flea. Leave him at home.

Emotional Support Cougar. Shopping can be stressful with inflation combined with people flying around the aisles with their carts. It might even be game day for the University in Provo. I don't care. Mountain lions belong in the wild, not in grocery stores.

Having said this, I'm totally good with squirrels, crickets and even the occasional hawk, but no beehives.
