President Trump apologizes to Republican Chairwoman

Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel says President Trump has apologized to her over his spats with her uncle, Utah Senator Mitt Romney.

McDaniel said the President has shown personal concern about her family connections on days when his disagreements with Romney take center stage.

McDaniel has been critical of her uncle at times, once referring to him as an "incoming freshman senator" following a critical op-ed Romney wrote about the President in the Washington Post.
