Romney will break ranks with republican party again

Republican Senator Mitt Romney will again break ranks with his party today on the Senate floor.

Romney says he will vote to allow more witnesses to testify in the impeachment trial of President Trump.

However, it remains to be seen if there are enough votes to force the action after other key Republican senators say they would not vote with Democrats, including Lamar Alexander and Cory Gardner.

Romney has consistently stated that he wants former National Security Advisor John Bolton to testify after he reportedly said Trump insisted on withholding military aid for Ukraine in his upcoming book.
