Thirteen small plane crashes in Utah this year

If it seems there has been a lot of small plane crashes in Utah, there has been.

According to John J. Nance, a veteran airline captain, small airplane crashes though are actually very rare.

So far in Utah the total number of small aircraft crashes, including a new one in Morgan County over the weekend is 13.

Roy, Moab, Hurricane, Logan, Bountiful, Hanksville, two in Heber City, Liberty, Centerville, Alpine, West Jordan and Morgan County.

Not all of them were fatal.
