Smith's grocery stores have started limiting the number of customers that can shop at one time.

Kroger, which owns the grocery chain, says Smith's will allow up to 50-percent of the building's capacity to help customers keep social distancing guidelines.

Floor decals will also be added to remind customers to stay six feet apart to avoid coronavirus transmission risk.

Kroger will also add plexiglass partitions at cash registers, and hand out masks for associates.
