Southern Utah Covid-19 update

The Southwest Utah Public Health department is reporting a total of 440 cases of Covid-19 in the 5 county area.

17 new cases of the virus have been reported with 243 recovered. 4 people have died. Washington County reports 365 total cases with 8 new.

Iron County, 69 cases with 9 new. Kane County 3. Beaver County 0 and Garfield County 3.

Many of the cases can be traced to close contacts, household, friends, coworkers etc.

There are also infections from social gatherings where distancing was not practiced.
