A University of Utah administrator says he aware the school has to work to regain the trust of students.

During a meeting with the school's Academic Senate last night, Senior Vice President Dan Reed acknowledged tensions on campus following the murder of Lauren McClusky last year, with the student government condemning how the U. has handled the case since.

Students told Reed about concerns they had with the university police, and why they feel administrators are not listening.

A second listening session is scheduled for tomorrow.
