Utah COVID-19 cases surpass 2,500, one new death announced

Utah has 2,542 cases of coronavirus and over 47,000 people that were tested, as of Wednesday, April 15th.

There was one more death announced Wednesday, bringing the state’s total to 20.

For the first time since the pandemic started in Utah, state officials released recovered case numbers in Utah on Monday 218 recovered cases of COVID-19 were reported.

According to the data, as of Wednesday, April 15, 221 people have been hospitalized with the virus.
