Utah is facing a whistleblower lawsuit, accusing the state of bilking the federal government out of more than 50-million dollars in grant money.

The lawsuit filed by a prison inmate specifically names the Utah Attorney General's Office, the Department of Public Safety and three other state agencies.

In the complaint, prison inmate Reginald Williams says the grants were given out following the 2008 economic collapse.

He claims he learned of the alleged fraud by observing Corrections employees while working in the prison print shop.
