Zion requiring all visitors to ride shuttles through the end of the year

Zion National Park is requiring all visitors to use shuttles to get around the park through the end of the year.

Zion Canyon Scenic Drive will be closed to private traffic through December 31st, with shuttles picking up and dropping off visitors at trailheads from 8 a.m. to just before 6 p.m.

Shuttles will also run from Springdale to the park every 15 minutes from 8:10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

This is the second year in a row that the park has instituted holiday shuttle service to help relieve traffic congestion and parking issues.
