Additional suspects arrested in missionary attack

Three additional suspects are in custody in connection with an attack on a missionary of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Payson.

Police announced the arrest of Nathan Thomas of Nephi and two unidentified juveniles this week.

Investigators say Thomas and the two underage males were part of a group that attacked a black Panamanian missionary in Payson on January 28th.

Two other men are already in custody for the attack, which is being investigated as a hate crime.
