Church cancels summer events

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has put all church camps, pageants and conferences on hold for this upcoming summer. 

Church leaders cited the ongoing pandemic for the move and concerns over social distancing. 

Additionally the church has also postponed the 2020 Hill Cumorah Pageant in Palmyra, New York until 2021. 

This year was supposed to be the pageant's final running.
