President Russell M. Nelson for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will speak this weekend at the 110th NAACP Annual Convention in Detroit.

According to a Church spokesman, the speech is part of the ongoing partnership between both organizations to promote greater civility and racial harmony.

Recently, the NAACP and the LDS Church have worked together on a joint education and employment initiative in four major U.S cities.
