Layton Temple groundbreaking date announced

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced the groundbreaking date for the new temple planned for Layton.

A groundbreaking ceremony will broadcast to stake centers in the area on Saturday May 30th.

The 87-thousand-square-foot, three-story building will be constructed on a 12-acre lot at the corner of Oak Hills Drive and Rosewood Lane.
