Police Recover Body Of Teen Who Drowned In Newcastle Reservoir

(Cedar City, UT) -- Police say they've recovered the body of a teenage boy who drowned at Newcastle Reservoir near Cedar City over the weekend. The Iron County Sheriff's Office says crews recovered the 14-year-old's body early yesterday morning. Police say the boy was kayaking with his 17-year-old brother when he went overboard and failed to resurface. Investigators say the victim did not know how to swim, and neither boy was wearing a life jacket.
