St. George nurse gets ‘extraordinary’ award

ST. GEORGE, Utah (KDXU) - Intermountain Healthcare St. George Regional Hospital leaders gave its first DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses.

Alison Howard has been honored.

She's a registered nurse at the St. George Regional Hospital and was nominated by Becky Lloyd, who's husband was the first of Howard's patients to die this year.

Fred Lloyd was transferred to intensive care after an accident at a Cedar City rehab facility.
