(St. George, UT) -- Heavy rains force open a sinkhole in St. George Monday night. The hole then promptly swallows a car halfway. The sinkhole opened along 100 South between 800 and 900 East. Police closed off the road while crews worked on freeing the car and repairing the hole. It's not clear how long the road will be closed but no one was injured.
