State pauses rapid testing in St. George
ST. GEORGE, Utah (KDXU) - Starting Monday, you'll only be able to get a PCR swab test as no rapid tests are available at the St. George testing site on Tech Ridge.
The Utah Department of Health is pausing rapid COVID-19 tests at many of its free testing sites in the state.
This comes after officials determined those tests were unsuccessful at finding COVID-19 at least 62% of the time.
Since only PCR tests are available, you'll probably have to wait a day or more for results, while tests are sent to a lab.
