Two Jailed After Caught With Three Kilos Of Cocaine

(St. George, UT) -- Two California women are jailed after Utah Highway Patrol troopers caught them with three kilos of cocaine in a traffic stop on Interstate 15. They led troopers on a chase for over a mile before stopping near mile marker 73. Nineteen-year-old Aleidi Romero and 28-year-old Lidia Veliz were arrested. Both "showed knowledge that the narcotics were in the vehicle" according to police.
