U of U being sued by two women raped by former football player

The University of Utah is being sued by two women who were raped by former football player Torrey Green.

In the lawsuit filed yesterday in federal court, the women accuse the university of endangering students by knowing about and tolerating sexual assaults.

They claim university staff failed to investigate multiple assault claims, and did not provide adequate health and counseling services to victims.

Green was convicted of raping six women between 2013 and 2015.

He was sentenced to more than 26-years in prison.
