Utah Legislature takes measures on coronavirus outbreak

Utah Legislature is working on measures to help deal with the rapidly growing coronavirus outbreak. 

House Joint Resolution 24 has been introduced, seeking to extend the current coronavirus state of emergency through June 30th. 

Senate Joint Resolution 16, which would allow state lawmakers to meet over the internet or on a conference call during an emergency, also advanced yesterday. 

Today is the final scheduled day of the state's legislative session.
