Utah mother crashes, kills one child

SEVIER COUNTY, Utah (KDXU) - A Utah mother is facing homicide charges after a deadly crash on Interstate 70 in Sevier County.

Leaders from the Utah Highway Patrol say an SUV going the wrong way on the interstate hit a semi early Sunday morning.

Two children were ejected from the SUV, even though they were wearing seat belts.

An 11-year-old died and a nine-year-old was flown to the hospital in extremely critical condition.

The woman driving the SUV is facing charges of criminal homicide, aggravated assault and driving under the influence.
